Christmas Home Tour

Our Christmas Home decor tour is up on my YouTube channel. This is my favorite time of year to go all out and decorate our home. My mother always made our home feel so special at Christmas. No matter what was going on in life, Christmas was just a time to relax and share time togther as a family. The memories I have from those Christmases with her will forever be in my heart. I hope to create that same feeling for our family as I decorate our home and we share special evening together this Christmas. I hope you enjoy and maybe even get some inspiration for your home.

Be sure to watch the video for a full tour 🎄😁🎄

Spring Decor Home Tour

I love decorating our home. It is a fun relaxing hobby that I love to do. I always start with shopping my home. I will bring flowers, plants, blankets, rugs, and decor from other rooms and move them around to where I’d like them now. I will grab any themed decor I have stored in the garage out after that and add it to the areas I like to add themed decor. Usually that is my front entry table and coffee bar. I try to not spend much money on these themed decor, as well as we do not have to much room to store to many items. If your like me you know what I mean. No more storage room in the garage so space is precious and items must be worth storing.

Here is my final result for our Spring decor.

Christmas Home Tour

Each year I get so excited to start decorating our home for Christmas. It is a special time of year for me because I remember decorating my childhood home with my mother each Christmas. She had a way of making our home feel magical each Christmas.  As we decorate our home, I hope my kids cherish those same memories. So here is our home this Christmas.  I hope you enjoy it.

Christmas In Our House

Christmas is my favorite time of year!  Yes, I know LOTS of people say that but for me, it brings back such amazing memories.  Not just the ones we’ve made since we became a family, but memories from when I was a child and celebrated Christmas with my mom and sister.  My mother came to the United Sates from Germany when she was 18.  The Christmas traditions she passed on the me are priceless. The way we spend Christmas Eve is one of those traditions.   I love going to church on Christmas Eve. We then coming home and having a family dinner before reading the Christmas story and opening a present.  For me it is the most magical time of the season.  It is the night that we come together as a family to remember and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.  The birth of Christ. Since my husband was raised with a traditional where Santa delivers presents and you open then on Christmas day, we have included that tradition as well.  Our kids get up early, and we go see what present Santa left for them.  I love combining both of our childhood traditions for our children so they get to enjoy both.  There are many other traditions that we enjoy and add each year.  Decorating cookies, making gingerbread houses, seeing Christmas lights, going to Disneyland, listening to LOTS of Christmas music and watching just about every Christmas movies are just a few more.

I wanted to share a couple videos we made this Christmas.  I hope you enjoy them.

And of course…..

I’m looking forward to another year of sharing with y’all so be sure to join us as we grow and learn more about country living, essential oils and our journey to health wellness.
